Yikes! It's hard to keep up with blogging! I don't know how people do it! This is a piece I put together which combines my love for puns and mint ice cream.

Honeybee
Final exams and projects are finally over! Hooray! I had some time to do fun things again. This is a quote from one of my favorite songs, "Honeybee" by Steam Powered Giraffe. Fun name right? I drew the little bees, dipper and honey pot? Not sure what those things are called! I wanted to try some different styles of lettering.

Bee's Garden
My final project is finally done! This is a poster that fellow designer, Julianna Leone, and I created. We photographed the food and then wrote out all the ingredients in Copperplate Calligraphy. I am so happy with the way it turned out!

Summer is Near!
Yikes! The end of the semester is creeping up! I have been crazy busy with final projects, but I have been enjoying this warm weather.

A little thank you
This past weekend I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to the Buffalo Ad Club Portfolio Review and won first place! This is a little thank you I hand lettered and sent to all of the professionals who were there.

Cat's Pajamas
My submission to the Rochester Contemporary Arts 6x6. I hope someone will buy it! I hand lettered the saying and then drew a kitty in pjs (hard to see, but he has stars and moons on there). My friends and I all made 6x6 submissions to support the museum. My friend Julianna's mom had lots of fun flower stamps that she made for us to use. It was an art party!

Soda Scribbles
I work for RIT Student Auxiliary Services and one of my jobs is to create interesting posts for our social media. This is a drawing I made to promote our coffee shop, MidNight Oil's Italian Soda. Supposably it's quite tasty. For the cup, I used my new fancy pens! And then used photoshop to clean it up. I had a lot of fun with this one!
